Superfood Banana Bread

BANANA BREAD IS ONE OF MY ULTIMATE FAVOURITE SWEET TREATS.

I LOVE TO BOOST THE NUTRIENT CONTENT OF THE LOAF BY ADDING IN GHEE, NUTS AND SEEDS AND CINNAMON! THE BEST PART IS, YOU CAN ADD WHATEVER YOU HAVE INTO THE BREAD TO MAKE IT TASTE DELICIOUS!

Combine the below to create a heavenly loaf. Preheat your oven to 165 degrees and line a loaf tin with baking paper or butter.

  • 150gr almond meal

  • 100gr buckwheat flour

  • 2 mashed Bananas

  • 100ml Maple syrup

  • 5ml Vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 60ml melted ghee/butter/olive oil

  • Pinch of salt

  • 50ml milk of choice

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup raw nuts of choice

  • Optional: 1/2 block chopped dark chocolate, handful of berries

Bake for 55 minutes or until golden brown.
